August 20, 2017 – Water Communion and Ingathering Ceremony
The water communion is an opportunity for us to come back together after our summer apart. Everyone is invited to bring water from a place that is special to them and pour their water into the large community bowl during the service. The combined water is symbolic of our shared faith coming from many different sources. Please come with water from your summer break (or use the symbolic water we will provide) to participate in the service.
This will be an intergenerational service with the youth and young adults remaining with the entire fellowship for the duration of the service. RE classes will resume next week.
If you are interested in volunteering to bring food to share after one of our services, please do so using the online sign up form.
